Arctic Ice

Walking through the forest to the frozen pond with the silence broken only bird and animal sounds felt like grace, and instead of being an intruder, I felt a part of all that was happening.  I wondered if this is what the arctic feels like.  Approx. 12 x 13 inches (approx. 30 x 33 cm), acrylic and mixed media on paper, unframed.
